Our newest, exhibit has just opened and features Greece citizens who served in “The War of the Rebellion” (1861 to1865). Highlighted are several of the units where the largest group of Greece volunteers enlisted. Rare photos and other memorabilia are on loan from private sources and the Greece Historian’s Office. Information and photos of some of the local service men are on view in addition to grave sites in several cemeteries. A roster of all the Greece citizens who served during the war is listed with other information about their service. This listing is available in a binder along with veteran and widow’s pension data.
